Greystone Pinot Noir 2015
Deep dark plum colour with a brooding nose of dark cherry, raspberry, leather, fennel and spices. The complexity of the nose leads beautifully into the detail of the palate – with chalky tannins and a long thread of acidity pushing through a long mouthfeel. Ripe cherry and red berry, savoury oak and a distinct minerality coat the wines structure core. Opens up wonderfully over time to reveal alluring florals and a svelte texture.
Terrace Edge Pinot Noir 2016
Lovely, deep, black-hued, ruby-red colour
Beautifully fragrant nose with bright, primary fruit, thyme-like herbs and floral allure.
On the palate it’s powerful and impressively rich while remaining beautifully balanced and elegant.
Mt Difficulty Pinot Noir 2017
This vintage has produced a Pinot Noir displaying opulent rich aromatics; lush dark fruits of the forest dominate the aroma and these are underpinned by sweet brown spice notes. The wine displays lovely elegance and flow with striking precision and clarity. On the palate it kicks off with a plush dense fruit of the forest entry, this plushness then moves beautifully into the mid palate, after which fine elegant textural tannins frame fruit and acidity on a lengthy finish.

Mondillo Pinot Noir 2015
The 2010 Pinot Noir, is rich dark and delicious. Beautifully centered with blackberry and plum flavours, a hint of spice, toasted oak and a velvety finish. Wild bunnies couldn't drag us away from the vintage.
Grasshopper Rock 2016 Pinot Noir
A wonderful buy. Grown at Alexandra and barrel-aged for nine months, it is a beautifully perfumed and deeply coloured red, rich and supple. Sweet-fruited, with concentrated plum/spice flavours, silky tannins and great harmony, it’s a drink now or cellaring proposition. - Reviewed by Michael Cooper author of Buyers Guide to NZ Wine and NZ Wine Atlas www.michaelcooper.co.nz
